Service Desk Support Engineer - Financial Services - London
Rate: Up to £250 per day
A Global Investment bank are looking to hire an experienced Service Desk Support Engineer to join their team to help troubleshoot enterprise applications
Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Desk Engineer to join a leading Financial Organisation in their IT Department. You will be responsible for the support and maintenance of the EMEA desktop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1st and 2nd Line support
- Responsible for installing, maintaining and upgrading all hardware and equipment
- Work collaboratively with 3rd level support and escalate effectively when needed
- The installation, upgrading and supporting of enterprise application
- Responsible for the diagnosing and repairing of hardware
- Desk side incident resolution when required
Key Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of desktop hardware
- Previous IT Service desk experience (ideally within financial services)
- Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft based operating systems and applications (especially Windows 7 and Office 2010)
- Experience with Active Directory Administration
- ITIL knowledge
