A Major Financial Services Firm is seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst to join their London team on a 6 month FTC. This role will report to the Team Lead within the Enterprise Support Services team and you will work closely with IT and business staff to ensure the continued support of the organisations delivery services and real-time index generation.
- Proactive support and monitoring of business critical real time data handling and data delivery applications.
- Incident Management
- Provide services to agreed SLA's and OLA's
- Perform scheduled checks and implement routine packaged changes.
Key skills and experience:-
- Linux and Windows Administration
- Extensive experience of using enterprise class service desk and monitoring tools
- Strong background in managing client queries and problems
- Working knowledge of networking
- Prior experience of providing 1st line support for 3rd party applications
- Demonstrable experience of providing customer support while working in a real time environment (trading)
- Strong experience of application and performance monitoring
- ITIL certified or experience of working in an ITIL environment
