Sales Engineer - Fintech - London

Company:

A rapidly expanding FinTech are looking for a tech-driven sales engineer to join their Engineering Team. As a key employee of this start-up, you will need to be prepared to 'roll-up your sleeves' and lend your development and business experience to their technical transformation projects. You will need to be hands on, thrive in a start-up environment and have a strong desire to work within the Financial Services industry.

The Role:

You will be working closely with the engineering team, who use a combination of server-side languages (C#, .Net, Java), Front-end languages (React, Go) and wider technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS).

You will be expected to take their product (a cloud-based solution for financial services) to market, engage with target clients and build unbreakable relationships, whilst expanding the companies client base.

Whilst you do not need to have experience developing code, you will need to have a sound understanding of software development, architecture and experience working closely with engineering teams. You will also need to be willing to travel to clients to provide product support, being an ambassador by providing a market-leading pre and post sales experience to prospective and current clients.

Key Skills:

  • Proven success in past sales-engineer positions
  • Strong awareness of current technologies and development principles e.g. Cloud/Agile
  • Knowledge or experience with one or more of the following (C#, C, C++, .Net Core, Java, Scala, Kubernetes, Postgres, Docker, AWS, Python, Go, React)
  • Strong communication skills
