Global Commercial Bank is looking to hire 3 contractors to help with implementing a variety of regulatory changes. The role will be based in the UK but will involve a lot of travelling to the other 8 offices in Europe to implement regulation in all locations.
There are 3 roles. 1 is purely focused on MIFID II and the other two are focusing around a variety of different regulations which include GDPR, Conduct Risk and TCF to name a few. The candidates will be involved in organising the implementation of the requirements arising from projects to do with each regulation and working with both the project managers and compliance team to identify what needs to be done. The main aim will be to meet the deadlines in a timely and effective way and each project is supported by a robust project framework.
Key Responsibilities will include...
- Reading up on regulations to understand what the bank will need to do.
- Gap analysis of the bank and understand what needs to be done to meet the regulation.
- Detailed project planning and control
- Developing risk frameworks to reflect regulatory change
- Produce reports to the Project Board and other relevant committees.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a Compliance Regulatory Change role and will have strong project management skills. You will have proven experience in delivering a compliance project in the past. Must be flexible for travelling in this role as you will be going to the European offices frequently.
