Twenty Financial Services; on behalf of a tier 1 investment bank in Canary Wharf, require an AVP level candidate with strong regulatory experience on the capital side.
The role will sit within a team dedicated to advising and leading strategic changes / implementations, across regulatory policy and reporting teams, ensuring a strong controls focus is maintained throughout.
The role itself will be ultimately centred around keeping up to date with regulatory changes, most importantly Basel III, CRDIV and Credit Risk. Knowledge of future changes is very important as the role holder will be working closely with key stakeholders to agree strategic changes to business processes, ready for role out across the relevant teams. This means that this person needs to be highly analytical, as impact analysis will be required to understand why the changes are necessary and how they will affect the teams in their current state; MI will be a vital part of the role for that reason.
As well as being up to date with regulation, analytical and controls focused, this person also needs to be able to communicate well at all levels. Key stakeholders will come from an array of different teams, mostly technology and capital advisory.
The most advantageous experience and skills you can have will be a solid knowledge and understanding of Basel III and CRDIV. Exposure to finance / risk within a bank who has in the passed showed evidence of independent work is a must.
