The Company

This is an exciting role for a Process Excellence Specialist to join the brand new Intelligent Automation team of a leading Global Asset Manager. The team is tasked with designing, building and executing a BPM and IA strategy across the Technology and Operation departments.

The Job

This role provides an opportunity for the prospective candidate to join a newly formed team and add value from day one to the corporation. This involves progressing the BPM's agenda in order to embed innovation across the business. The role is an excellent opportunity for a natural-born leader looking to work closely with Delivery teams, guiding and overlooking their delivery lifecycles and ensuring that automation / process optimisation solutions are delivered and maintained in line with the CoE methodologies and design standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with Delivery Leads to foster strong business relationships in order to build the team brand across the corporation
  • Acting as the key technical point of contact in the assessment and validation of suitable opportunities for automation and optimisation
  • Ensuring strong relationships between key stakeholders outside the team alongside delivery teams and product owners
  • Acting as required Scrum Master overseeing assigned delivery teams to ensure they live Agile values and are shielded from outside distractions whilst performing their day to day tasks
  • Providing technical and process support throughout delivery lifecycle by being the key point of escalation, review and validation
  • Driving adoption and consistent application of CoE methodologies
  • Conducting quality control of delivery solutions and performing reviews as appropriate
  • Producing status reports and flagging issues to Delivery Leads
  • Supporting the Strategy & Toolkit Lead and Governance & Design Authority by providing specialist technical insight in CoE definition

Key Skills

  • Previous experience leading successful Agile development teams
  • Demonstrable experience working with Automation, Agile Development, Operational Excellence approaches and methodologies
  • Significant experience in deploying best practices for Process Excellence within a mid - large organisation
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Project and programme management experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
