Job Description
One of my Asset Management clients is looking for a new Interest Claims & Overdraft Analyst to join their Asset Services team. The role holder will be responsible for checking all client overdrafts and interest claims on a daily basis and ensuring no transactions fail due to overdrafts.
Responsibilities
- Manage all Overdraft and Interest Claim tasks on a daily basis
- Investigate why transactions may have failed due to overdrafts
- Ensure the correct costs are paid for client's overdrafts
- Daily interaction with the claims team and custodians
- Adhering to strict deadlines and delivering work to the highest standard
- Manage tasks from beginning to end, investigating and resolving any problems and reporting any inconsistencies as appropriate
- Review processes to identify potential improvements
- Supports the team with the resolution of day to day operational issues and resolve anomalies
Skills Required
- Technical investment knowledge/experience relevant to role
- Understanding of different types of transactions
- Worked in an overdraft / interest claim role
- Experience of challenging working practises and adaptability to Change
- Collaborative and personalised approach to service commitment, delivery and continuous improvement
- Evidence of effective working relationships with stakeholders
- A proven track record of being flexible, adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast paced and changeable environment
