Job Description

A boutique, London based consultancy with a varied client base - Aviation, Finance, Healthcare - are looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to help build a greenfield application through to completion for one of their key clients. You will become part of a multi-disciplinary team within an organisation that values developer productivity and DevOps automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement moderately complex solutions in simple programs and scripts or within an area of a more complex project
  • Design a moderately complex solutions and communicate your ideas prior to implementation 
  • Verify your work appropriately before pushing commits or making pull requests 
  • Review the work of others and collaborate as required 
  • Perform and apply an adequate level of unit testing 
  • Create documentation to share your knowledge as appropriate 
  • Amend previously delivered solutions as new functional and maintenance requirements emerge 
  • Refactor complex programs and scripts 
  • Understand agreed standards and tools and apply them to achieve a well-engineered result
  • Respond to and implement fixes for software maintenance support tickets 
  • Keep your technical skillset up to date by keeping abreast of new advancements and best practices 
  • Attend delivery retrospectives to feedback on processes, methods and tools

Experience:

  • 2 years experience of a combination of server-side focused development with skills in C#, ASP.NET and database tech (plus if you have experience with MongoDb ) 
  • Client-side focused development with skills in JavaScript, React or Angular
  • Azure 
  • Capable of producing quality components in a well-architected solution 
  • Technology agnostic in your approach and are open to using the proper technology for the user problem at hand 
  • Creating simplicity from complex systems, processes and business problems 
  • Staying ahead by advancing you current technical skillset, with also a drive to explore technology evolution trends
