A leading Private Equity firm, who are growing both geographically and core products, are seeking a Group Financial Controller.
Due to their expansion, this role will require someone who is able to simultaneously maintain responsibility for the day-to-day control of Finance, but also be able to think strategically about the improvement of processes and the information and service that the team provides to the business. The scope of this role is set only to increase over time and, therefore, requires someone who is able to take on the breadth of an increasing role.
The Group Financial Controller will be responsible for all aspects of core Finance, including: management accounts, budgeting and forecasting processes, annual statutory accounts and Finance Operations. The role will be highly communicative, in particular with Fund Administration, Tax, HR, Legal and Compliance.
This role requires a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or equivalent) who has an excellent and in-depth understanding of Investment Management and corporate accounting processes. Due to the nature of this business, there is a relatively complicated fund and tax structure so the Group Financial Controller will need to be adept in this field. This role will report to the Group CFO.
