This team, that focuses on Life and Pensions with some exposure to OEICs and Unit Trusts, are smaller within the wider Fund Accounting team. They are looking for a Fund Reporting Analyst to join an integral and highly analytical team.
This is a role that requires an accounting mindset so would be suited to someone who is either a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or someone who has the relevant experience. This person will be responsible for reporting on the assets and relevant portfolio structures and producing detailed and pertinent MI.
The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of at least one of the following asset classes: equities, bonds, derivatives. In addition, to be successful in this role, you must have strong Excel skills. This would include Vlookups, SUMIFs, index matching and complex formulae.
The successful candidate will be responsible for counterparty exposures, monthly and quarterly fund accounting reports and IFRS/PRA disclosures. You will also be developing relevant procedures, processes and systems to support both internal and external fund reporting requirements.
