Job Description
A mid size investment bank are looking for a qualified accountant to provide leadership and analysis on a major financial reporting transformation project, initially 6 months, using a newly implemented technology solution. Inside IR35, rate inclusive of holiday pay
Responsibilities include:
- Work as a lead BA, reviewing the reporting solutions, looking at key reports and processes
- Working with Technology architects and BI developers to identify solutions
- Lead demos to show the business new functionalities
- Work with underlying technology reporting solutions, working closely with developers on MI and data warehouse solutions
- Ensure development work has been subjected to QA
- Ensure the technology teams implement solutions / enhancements in a controlled manner
Requirements:
- Experience with Business Objects & Oracle Cloud
- Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant
- Have a proven track record of delivering financial reporting solutions, ideally for a Financial trading or investment organisation
- A demonstrated leader – leading teams of significant size
- Understand financial statement production (month end, FX movements, allocations, attestations)
