A global asset management firm who recently restructured are looking for a qualified accountant to join them as a Finance Analyst.
You will gain broad exposure across a number of corporate accounting duties, including: month end reporting, group reporting, FCA and regulatory returns. You will gain exposure to a number of international corporate entities and hold responsibility for balance sheet for these.
This person needs to be someone who is prepared to think critically about the processes that are in place and suggest amendments. Therefore, this role will involve a number of projects, including systems implementation and process improvements.
The team has recently experienced a decent amount of upskilling and you will be part of that transition. As such, you will be expected to take on some of the duties that are currently attended to by the Financial Controller and deputise for them in a number of situations.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with demonstrable experience of corporate accounting within an asset manager.
