Job Description

The investment banking arm of one of the world's leading financial organisations are looking a financial reporting specialist to join their world class reporting team. It is a great opportunity to get involved in the daily activities of the investment bank, working across ad-hoc requests from senior stakeholders (inc. the CFO) and an array of different projects.

THE JOB

Specifically your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysis Daily consolidated P&L
  • Liaising with different business lines and both the Data Management and Technology team, mitigating any system issues
  • Preparation of management and committee board packs for delivery to senior stakeholders
  • Streamlining and creating efficiency's within existing process controls through project work - improving the manual reporting processes.
  • Continuous optimization and development in automating processes

YOU

To be considered for this job, you will have the following experience:

Required

  • Relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA)
  • Degree qualification - minimum 2.1
  • Ability to confidently liaise with senior stakeholders
  • Finance, Product Control or Risk MI experience
  • Previous exposure to financial concepts, inc. performance measurements and risk metrics
  • Ability to work within a high pressured environment
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Attention to detail

Desirable

  • Oracle systems exposure
  • Business Objects reporting tools
  • Working Excel proficiency
