Job Description

A leading insurance provider is looking for a Finance Manager for the consolidation team to support financial reporting and system improvement.

The role:

  • Support the production of reporting cycles in accordance to IFRS, Solvency II & PRA requirements
  • Implement and enhance controls to develop the financial reporting processes improving quality and efficiency of team output
  • Support the production of half year and annual reporting including group & local statutory accounts, regulatory reporting and tax analysis
  • Liaise with internal & external audit teams on relevant queries
  • Own effective control environment evidencing compliance with the Financial Reporting Control Framework

Essential Skills:

  • Fully Qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Proven financial reporting experience within financial services
  • Experience in preparation of statutory accounts using IFRS and/or Solvency II
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills
