Job Description

Twenty Financial Services are currently recruiting for a Credit Risk Reporting Analyst for a Challenger Bank in London.

The role will report directly into the Head of Credit Risk Analytics and focus on risk reporting and portfolio analysis across the bank's lending portfolios. Furthermore, the role will play a big part in contribution to the creation of a Data Warehouse for the Bank.

Role Responsibilities

  • Credit Risk Reporting and analysis of credit trends and emerging risks across the Bank; portfolio review
  • Significant contribution to the annual re-design of the Risk Appetite metrics
  • Production of monthly reports to Executive/ Board Level
  • Consolidation of all risk appetite metrics; credit risk but also operational risk, conduct and compliance
  • Deliverance of MI across risk; working closely with Head of Operation Risk, Conduct and Compliance to deliver MI across all risk types
  • Deliverance of bespoke analytics to aid the front line business in understanding their overall risk profile
  • Significant contribution towards the development of a Data Warehouse
  • Contributing of a firm wide Data Integrity forum which will work to improve the quality and reliability of the data used in reporting
  • Continuous creation and enhancement of the credit policy through data trends in order to maintain an effective framework for Credit risk Management
  • Working closely with the 1st Line businesses to support the delivery of business objectives whilst maintaining effective controls
  • Understanding internal and external data, infrastructure and reporting requirements and coordinating these with effective analytical solutions

Required Skills

  • Experience within credit risk and reporting
  • Good analytical skills: Microsoft Excel advanced and SAS or a similar programming language is highly desired
  • IFRS9 knowledge is desirable
  • Excellent risk awareness
