Job Description

Twenty Financial Services are currently recruiting for a French speaking Credit Analyst for a leading brokerage firm in London.

The person filling the role will be responsible for the credit analysis of a proportion of the firm's clients. They will carry out extensive analysis of the client's financial situation and business model, alongside developing an understanding as to how the client is effected by macroeconomic events. They well create well-expressed recommendations for the Chief Risk Officer and Credit Committee.


  • Credit analysis (both quantitative and qualitative) of new and existing clients and counterparts across Corporates, FIs (Financial Institutions) and NBFI'S (Non-Banking Financial Institutions)
  • Understanding of macro-economic events and how this fits in to the credit risk analysis (particularly country factors)
  • Produce recommendations to the CRO and Credit Committee for new credit facilities
  • Interact with clients frequently
  • MI reporting
  • Act as an SME for all matters credit related and manage the credit application and review cycle for a proportion of clients
  • Improvement of existing credit risk policies and implementation of new ones
  • Primary points of contact: Head of Credit Risk, Chief Risk Officer, Head of Enterprise Risk

Key Skills

  • Fluent in French (verbal and written)
  • Strong financial statement analysis experience (preference to be from an investment banking or brokerage background working with institutional clients)
  • Demonstrable credit risk experience and knowledge of margin requirements of futures and options
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to interact with senior stakeholders
  • Report writing experience
  • MS Excel and Word skills essential (and Bloomberg is desirable)
  • Credit risk analysis of clients with presence in the commodities space is advantageous
