Job Description

Global Legal Firm which focuses on working with distinguished corporations and financial institutions have in the last year opened up a financial services consultancy arm which focuses on providing compliance solutions. They are now looking for a contractor to come in to work on a project with a global bank to look at their current controls in their front office.

You would report into the Head of Regulatory Projects and be working within a team of 5 to be able to deliver this project in the time scale of 4 months.

Responsibilities Include...

  • Go into the bank's front office and liaise with directors and managers to understand how they do their role. You would then understand the processes they do in their day to day job and evaluate them to see if they are compliant.
  • You would be doing the monitoring and testing of controls that are currently in place.
  • Trade and communication surveillance will also be involved in this particular project.
  • You would be apart of regulatory investigations.

The ideal candidate will have experience within a top tier Investment Bank of sizeable global Investment Bank within the front office. Candidates with monitoring and testing controls, surveillance, operational risk or conduct risk would be good skill sets for this contract. Stakeholder engagement is also important within this role.
