Job Description

A technology firm are looking for an exceptional Finance Manager to join their finance team. As a key employee of this organisation you will need to be prepared to roll-up your sleeves and lend your experience to many different areas of the business. You will be reporting to the CFO and be responsible for the management of finance processes, systems, controls and also commercial budgeting/forecasting and FP&A. You will need to be a qualified accountant, with exceptional Financial Modelling, Excel, and Accounting Standards knowledge.

THE JOB

Specifically your responsibilities will include:

  • Management Information reporting
  • Ensuring robust controls throughout the entire business which includes:
    • Oversight of all AP and AR processes
    • Balance sheet reconciliations
    • Financial statement preparation
  • Business partnering with wider business to assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Develop efficiencies and improvements of controls, processes and procedures
  • Prepare accurate filings in accordance with UK GAAP and UK Tax Principles
  • Various ad-hoc projects

YOU

To be considered for this job, you will have the following experience:

  • A fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) accountant with ~5 years post qualification experience
  • Extremely strong upward trajectory
  • Familiarity with UK GAAP or IFRS
  • Impressive Financial Modelling and Excel skills
  • Exposure to start-up mentality and working environment
  • Intelligent, motivated, innovative and excellent ability to get things done
  • Equally comfortable dealing with both the financial detail and the big picture
