Our Client, a major FinTech and lending business based in Berlin, is looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join their growing team. This is an exciting time to join, the company is expanding quickly and offer a relaxed and down-to-earth culture.


This is a Collections & Customer Services Officer role with responsibility for:

  • Creating strategies for debt collection and agreeing repayment plans with customers
  • Frequently contacting customers to discuss their loans and managing the repayment process
  • Ensuring stakeholders are kept updated of debt collection timelines
  • Managing loan payments and creating reports to manage the collection of debt
  • Liaising with lawyers, debtors and enforcement bodies
  • Building internal relationships with the Sales, Payments, Legal and Risk teams
  • Helping to maintain customer records and ensure all data is up to date


  • Previous experience gained working in a Debt Recovery, Collections, or an Accounts Receivables role for at least 1 year is essential
  • Previous Customer Services experience is highly desireable
  • Fluency in German and English is essential
  • Previous experience gained working within Financial Services, Payments, Lending or Retail Banking is preferred
  • A law degree or any legal work experience is highly beneficial
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm
