Job Description


  • Oversee the IT helpdesk, ensure SLA's are met
  • Active Directory configuration and management
  • Microsoft Office 365 Exchange administration
  • Support of the managed print system
  • Management of the door security system
  • Setup, configuration and deployment of mobile devices
  • Assisting office workers with the use of IT systems
  • Support of the telephone system
  • Create and update technical documents and procedures
  • Assist the IT director in companywide projects
  • Work on own initiatives and produce progress reports for the IT Director
  • Other ad-hoc duties as outlined by your line Manager
  • Regular meetings with the IT Director
  • Regular meetings with the IT team
  • Supporting all employees
  • Build relationships with key IT Vendors
  • Source and order IT equipment from preferred suppliers
  • Liaise with external suppliers to resolve helpdesk tickets

Required Skills:

  • Industry recognised IT qualification
  • Desire to learn and progress within the department
  • Good levels of literacy and numeracy
  • System Knowledge
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Good Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including; Windows (server and workstation), Office 365

Desired Skills:

  • Microsoft Azure knowledge desirable
  • Microsoft MCP qualification
  • Previous experience of working in Insurance Broker
