A Tier 1 global bank offering services and products in retail, investment and corporate banking in over 30 countries. Delivering for a range of clients from corporate to governmental they are looking for an Application Support Analyst to join their Run the Bank Department.
This role will be responsible for providing 2nd level support within Payments Processing space of the Run the Bank department focusing on Faster Payments support.
- 2nd Level management of incidents
- Changes to Batch Scheduling
- Service and post incident reviews
- First line consultancy requests
- Responsibility for implementation plans and release documentation
- Responsible for service improvements and activity stabilisation
- Experience within a technical support role
- Previous experience of Payment Processing applications (ideally Faster Payments)
- Experience within UNIX and LINUX operating systems
- Knowledge of Oracle and SQL
